D8 BEERS
We'll be announcing a final pick-up date once COVID restrictions have been lifted. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
IT'S ALL GOOD
D8 Beers was founded on the idea that good beer, made by good people can bring good to others. That's why all proceeds from the sale of our first brew are going to My Lovely Horse Rescue. We'd encourage you to have a look at what this wonderful team do.
Our limited edition D8 Winter Ale is “a banger of a brew” in the scientific words of our crafty brewing partners Third Barrel Brewing. These guys have been making stunning beers for years, so they were the perfect team to make our outstanding Winter Ale.
With hints of honeycomb, caramel, dried fruits, biscuit and orange zest, at a robust 8% ABV, our D8 Winter Ale is a beer to be savoured - like a massive hug from yer Ma!
We couldn’t have brought our beers to you without the enthusiasm and support of The Thomas House who've allowed us to make their bar our HQ and D8 Beers pick-up point for December. Thanks Kev, you handsome Devil!
We must thank Label Tech who printed our wonderful labels - on the house.
A special thanks must go to the 57 The Headline for support and advice in the early stages of development - cheers Geoff & Máire. A big thank you also to Darryl McNally, Master Distiller at The Dublin Liberties Distillery for the generous offer, we'll take it up in the future - a massive D8 thanks yiz all.

My Lovely Horse Rescue
My Lovely Horse Rescue was established in 2011 at the height of the horse crisis in Ireland and is run mainly by volunteers determined to end the suffering of equines in Ireland. With a mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate & Rehome. They work with authorities and government in moving neglected equines to a place of safety, whilst lobbying politicians and local authorities to increase compliance with existing legislation.
Dublin's rich history of brewing was built on the hard work of the city's many horses, so it's fitting that these stories are brought together once again for the greater good.
"We'd like to thank everyone involved with D8 Beers for their hard work in getting this wonderful fundraising initiative started. Winter 2020 is going to be a particularly challenging season - so every drop bought will really help us with our work."
Martina Kenny - MLHR Co-founder
